New Moon + NINJA WARRIOR ATTACK!!!! = Best. Night. Ever.

Last night has to be one of the funnest weekends I have had in a long time around here. The adventurers and I decided we had had enough. No more getting to the movie theater and being told they were sold out of tickets for New Moon. So this time, we went two and a half hours early, and it worked! We bought tickets and planned on getting the best seats in the house and we were determined to wait. Our friends met us there and we took a quick trip over to Wal-Mart for snackies and things... You can never be unprepared. Then, we headed back over to the movie theater and waited... and waited... and waited. But don't worry, this wasn't like one of those brutally boring line waiting days, this was amazing. We were playing games up the wazoo, but not just any games...Loud games. Everyone was staring at us like we were freaks, but none of us cared. It was so much fun and I almost forgot I was freezing my butt off and wearing high heels. It was great. Finally after two hours of Ninja Attack and other odd games, we were let in to watch the greatest movie of all time... I don't wanna talk about it, I think I'm going to cry. Lets just say, it was awesome! Afterwords we came back to our apartment and changed into jammies. Then, I believe we played Ninja Warrior Attack for oh... The next THREE HOURS! GAH! Funnest. Game. Ever. I'm pretty sure I'm very sore on every muscle of my body but I have never had so much simple fun ever. It was great and I had a blast. Plus Jake brought his friend "Shrimp" over and he played with us too...(I think Shrimp is a Super Ninja in disguise, he was so quick nobody could catch him!)
Well, that my friends was my glorious night, I don't believe I went to bed until sometime after four. (Robyn don't tell mom :)) Lets just say I had a great night.
Until we meet again.... Fast Running Girl

My first blog!!! WHOO HOO!

Hello my dear family. I have decided to let you in on my fabulous life of being a college student so I don't forget all of the really neat and stupid things that have happened to me since the last time I have seen you.
As most of you should know, my roommates and I have our own superhero league called "The Adventurers". We fight crime, solve mysteries, you know all that jazz. In Ephraim, you just have to make your own fun, and it all started with a trip to Wal-Mart....
On day we went to Wal-Mart to get some food and things (you know, all that stuff needed to live or whatever), and on our way to the checkouts we see at cart with a big "Clearance" sign on it. Of course we had to investigate, and what do we find? The shopping cart is loaded with little backpacks with superheros on them, and they were only $3!!! WHOO HOOO! It was like Christmas... In August. Each of us chose a different one and bought them. (mine has Spiderman on it). As soon as we got home, we loaded them with the most random and necessary things need for survival. Its a harsh world out there, you never know what you are gonna need....
Well, You just can't have a superhero league without superhero names...Duh. But we didn't just want any names, we needed legendary names, names that would go down in history. As we sat in the living room watching TV (the Disney Channel to be exact), there was an episode about the characters on TV turning into heroes! What are the odds....?!?! Zac and Cody (the Suite Life of Zac and Cody) jump out as "Quick Guy" and "Brain Man" and me being the cheese head I am said "Hey guys I know lets do super obvious names like: Fast Running Girl!! HAHA" And that my friends, is how I got my superhero name. I Karina Russon am Fast Running Girl....(I run fast...) My comrades are: See Through Girl (Invisibility), Water Blasting Babe (Shoots water), Air Floater (Flying), and Fireball Throwing Chick (Throws fireballs). And we together create: "The Adventurers!"
As you can see this has ended up being a rather large post... oops. So next time I will have to inform you of our epic adventures and daring deeds... Untill we meet again...
